App for sales agents · in development, 2026

The wine merchant's sales agents took orders by hand, and the office retyped them into Picam, its business software. Now every order is right from the start on the agent's tablet, even with no signal, and reaches the office ready for export. Catalog, per-customer price lists, cascading discounts, order PDFs and a web console for the office team.

CABA is an AC Creative Lab (Alessandro Cardoni) project for Enoteca Corsetti: an iOS, Android and iPad app for sales agents with a web console for the office.

The problem

A 5,500-product catalog, different price lists for every customer, cascading discounts and wine cellars with no phone signal. Every order went through two pairs of hands.

Result

Pricing and discount engine validated against three real orders: it matches to the cent. VAT is calculated per rate, not line by line.

Same logic as the app: discounts are applied in cascade, and VAT is calculated per rate on the whole order. Products and price lists here are sample data.

Frequently asked questions

Does the CABA app work without a connection?

Yes: agents take orders even where there's no signal; orders stay on the device and are sent automatically as soon as the connection is back.

Does CABA connect to the company's business software?

Yes: orders are exported to Excel and CSV ready for the Picam management software, and the catalog comes in from WooCommerce, with nothing typed twice.
